Maybe bartending is Ryan Seacrest’s future once he officially leaves “Live with Kelly & Ryan!”
The “American Idol” host served drinks from behind a bar at a private cast party for the East Village show. But we’ve heard that Katy Perry doesn’t drink.
Secret Perry and referees Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie go on a publicity tour of the new season. And they all celebrated at Mister Paradise on Avenue A.
Heard that Seacrest started out as a bartender, hit the bar’s “Miami Vice” cocktail as soon as he got there.
“They studied bartending. They stayed there for several hours. Katy Perry was on a detox. So there was no drinking for her,” an insider told Page Six.
But there are more than enough drinks for everyone. Brian served and carried a tray full of mezecal shots for the other guests.
“It’s a party for them to have fun during. Luke is the real life of the party. Tearing shots and making fun of Lionel,” the insider added.
The four of them sat at the bar and watched the professionals mix unique cocktails when they weren’t drinking.
Seacrest announced last month that he would be stepping down from his early morning show on “Live!”
Friends were worried that he lit candles on both sides as he was doing a lot of work. including hosting a radio program
He will continue to host “Idol” and his radio contract will expire in 2025.
