When the video was released, Sam’s fans flooded in to share their excitement for his new baby. “She’s so beautiful,” wrote one fan. while another wrote, “Thank you for sharing. I know it’s not easy trying to keep it private.” A third called Lucy “very cute,” and a fourth said, “What kind of doll do you have?!”
Sam’s video comes a year after he announced Lucy’s birthday during a concert at Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium. “I just had a daughter named Lucy Lu,” he said on the show. E.T.. “I think being here Doing music business and traveling It hardens my heart. My heart became heavier in many ways. Since I left that little town, it’s amazing how a little girl melted away overnight a few weeks ago.”
The video also has been over a year since Lucy’s mother Sam and Hannah planned a divorce. The latter filed for divorce on February 18, 2022 and is looking for a permanent custody arrangement when “Give birth to the first minor child,” according to court documents. The document also reveals that she filed for separation from Sam for various reasons, including adultery. inappropriate marital behavior and differences that are incompatible, however, by May of the same year Hannah reportedly filed paperwork to terminate the divorce.
Sam and Hannah’s fight and reconciliation culminates during their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple married in 2017 and welcomed Lucy in 2022. She is their only child.
