Sania Mirza reveals what it’s like to be a young tennis player.
The conversation started with a question about how she felt about retirement. Sania said, “It’s emotional and it’s slowly sinking in. I still feel strange having to board a plane without a tennis racket with him I’m still used to that.”
The tennis player also revealed how she’s looking forward to what’s next for her. She added, “I am grateful for all that I have been able to do for the past 30 years when I started playing tennis when I was 6.”
While referring to her childhood beginnings, she said, “No one but my parents believed in our dreams.” She went on to say that she did everything she did when people didn’t believe in her dreams.
