sources told Fox 13 Kemp was acting in self-defense…and he was trying to retrieve stolen property when someone opened fire on him first.
Kemp booked for the offense of driving with a gunshot at 5:58 p.m. at Pierce County Jail.
The police say no one was hurt… and the incident is under investigation.
