Arnold Schwarzenegger was surrounded by his kids at the premiere of his new Netflix show, “Fuber,” this week.
But while the superstar was joined by her daughters Christina, 31, and Katherine, 33 — the latter with “Guardians of the Galaxy” star husband Chris Pratt — her lookalike lovechild, Joe Baena, walked the red carpet alone.
Even though Schwarzenegger is extremely close to all five of his children, the actor’s four children from his marriage to Maria Shriver still have nothing to do with Baena.
His half-brother is the product of the actor’s relationship with Mildred Baena, the family’s former housekeeper.
Schwarzenegger and his son are “very close,” said a source who knows the actor. “But, to be honest, the other kids don’t love Joe. It’s a shame because he’s a really nice kid, and Arnold has always treated him like all his other kids — very fair. But Whatever be the reason, the other kids start having an affair.
The red-carpet modesty didn’t go unnoticed as 25-year-old Baena – who is a keen bodybuilder just like Schwarzenegger – posted a photo of himself at the premiere on social media, writing how proud he was of his father Is.
“I give 2 THUMBS UP to FUBAR!!!” He has written. “Had an amazing time last night at the FUBAR premiere (sic)! In my unbiased opinion, FUBAR is one hilarious, action-packed show that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
To this, one of Bena’s followers replied: “It is disgusting how you are treated, man, of your own blood. Totally ignored because of something outside your control. What Is it ethnic animosity? Who knows. Use this bull-tee to fuel up at the end of the day.
The follower said that Baena’s siblings “completely ignore her… They were even at the same premiere and took a picture together but avoided Joe completely.”
Another fan wrote: “It’s a shame. Arnie comes to love them equally, if not more so as he is following in their footsteps.
Amazingly, Baena didn’t delete the comments.
Page Six has reached out to Baena for comment.
Schwarzenegger did not run again, and a family representative did not comment.
As previously written, all the children have a difficult relationship with Baena, while Schwarzenegger has always paid for his son – including his college fees – and Mildred has bought him a house.
At 75, the former California governor — who was seen holding a giant mug that read “World’s Best Dad” at the premiere — is looking better than ever after undergoing heart surgery in 2018.
A friend of Schwarzenegger told Page Six, “I saw him a month ago and he looks fantastic.”
He shares Katherine and Christina as well as Patrick, 29, and Christopher, 25, with Shriver, who is a regular “Today” show contributor.
Katherine is making a name for herself with children’s books, TV and charity work.
Patrick is a model and actor, while Christina is a documentary filmmaker and a founding member of the Special Olympics Founders Council.
(Her grandmother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founded the Special Olympics in 1968.)
Christopher is working and a graduate of the University of Michigan.
The “Fuber” premiere was the first time that the tension between the Schwarzenegger children was on public display.
While onlookers told Page Six that Baena stayed in Los Angeles to enjoy the premiere after-party at The Grove, the other kids went home.
“Arnold is really close to Joe. I’ve been to a lot of events where he’s brought him along.”
The source added that Baena is despised by her half-siblings, “It’s not fair, but I think it’s understandable – she’s the product of something that shouldn’t have happened.”
Another source said: “The Schwarzenegger children have consistently handled the situation with dignity and class.”
In “Fuber”, Schwarzenegger plays an almost-retired CIA operative with Monica Barbaro as his daughter.
Baena gushed about his father on the carpet, saying: “It’s always lovely to see his vulnerable, little fatherly side. I love it.”
When asked what wisdom her action-hero father passed down, Baena, who stars in the upcoming action film “Gunner” alongside Morgan Freeman and Luke Hemsworth and appeared on “Dancing with the Stars,” replied: “The main thing he always tells me is, ‘You have to put the reps in. It’s practice, practice, practice.’
Schwarzenegger and Shriver divorced in 2021, despite separating in 2011.
The actor recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the split was “my f—k up, my failure,” accepting their divorce was “very difficult in the beginning.”
“Eventually, you move on.” They said. “I have an amazing girlfriend, (physical therapist) Heather Milligan, who is very successful. I’m really proud of her, and I love her.
“At the same time, I love my wife (Shrivar). He and I are really good friends and very close, and we’re very proud of the way we raised our kids.
“If there’s an Oscar for handling the divorce, Mariah and I should get it for having the least impact on the kids,” he joked. “The sweetness and kindness you see in him is from my wife. Discipline and work ethic is from me.
Page Six reports that Baena and Patrick have been on a bit of a relationship, and another source said that the two were recently spotted working out together in Santa Monica.
However, Patrick does not follow Baena on Instagram.
Another family insider said: “Arnold loves all of his kids. He has a great relationship with all of them.
