Spice Girl separates from Mel C boyfriend, ‘isn’t afraid to be single’

Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has split from her boyfriend of seven years, Joe Marshall.
Mel, 48, who has 13-year-old daughter Scarlett with former Thomas Starr, was with music executive Joe in his 40s since 2015.

He became her manager and the couple moved to North London together with Scarlett and her two children.
But yesterday a source said: “Mel has an incredibly busy career with book deals, DJ-ing and other plans, among other things.
“The little free time he has is devoted to his daughter Scarlett, and it doesn’t leave much time for a relationship.”
He said the split was “amicable”, but added that Mel “wasn’t afraid to be alone if she thinks it’s best”.
