Despite her recent love woes, the former EastEnders star, 27, looked in good spirits as she made a triumphant return to Strictly a year on from her win.

Joining Claudia and Giovanni on the couch ahead of their comeback dance, Rose said how “wonderful” it was to be back on the show, while also expressing her shock that it had been a whole year since her first appearance.

She added that training for her comeback with Giovanni made her realize how much she “missed” training with him, while the Italian added that the few hours they danced together again were “magical”.
