The Hamptons scene will start to heat up over Memorial Day weekend.
Among tried-and-true favorites over the weekend, Montauk’s Surf Lodge will celebrate its 15th anniversary with performances from Fisher and Hayden James.
Later this summer, Busta Rhymes, Aloe Blacc, Anderson Paak and Bob Moses are all scheduled to play at the venue.
Also in Montauk, Bounce will start with parties hosted by model Tyson Beckford and former “The Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron. We hear Brody Jenner will also be hosting a bash in June.
For the art crowd, pop artist Sandy Cohen will be launching a new exhibition at Montauk Beach House. The show, “Put on Your Red Shoes,” will feature large paintings.
At Sole East, DJ Fez will be playing daily pool parties.
In Southampton, the Capri Hotel is set to change things this summer.
The Spot has hired a new chef, Andrew Mollen, for its restaurants. A poolside menu will include local fish and heart-shaped pizza for the romantics.
Owner Michael Pitcino has also added pickleball, table tennis and a firepit to the complex. The resort, which appeared on “Summer House” and is known for its pool parties, will also bring DJs.
Psychedelic rock band Black Rabbit will take over Canoe Place in Hampton Bay with a Beatles tribute.
For reading by the pool beyond Memorial Day, Cultured Magazine will publish two Hamptons issues this summer and host events with fashion brands Valentino, Alexander McQueen, and MyTheresa.
