BRITAIN is on track to be poorer than Poland by the end of the decade, Sergei Starmer said today.
The Labor chief will use another speech to try to formulate his vision for England. He claimed that he would initiate growth and stimulate the economy.
He said the British should judge him if he “Does it feel better?” after five years in the Labor government, despite not being given the key to number 10.
He said Labor’s plan to achieve maximum sustainable growth in the G7 would take Britain out of the Tories’ “low wages, high taxes, shackles of disaster”.
And he cites an analysis that says the British will be worse than those in Eastern Europe if the Tories win again.
Sergey would say: “The British are lagging behind while our European neighbors are getting richer.
“In the East, as well as in countries such as France and Germany. I’m not comfortable with that.
“Uncomfortable with the prospect of seeing England overtake Poland any time soon.”
But last night, the Tories countered that Labor left the economy devastated when they retired.
Conservative Party chairman Greg Hands said: “Last time Labor left office. no money left The debt is increasing rapidly. and unemployment is on the rise. which is something the British will never forget.
“Everybody already knows what labor will do to the economy. With £90 billion in unfunded spending, that would lead to endlessly boring and rising debt.
“Starmer’s labor force is too weak to stand up for the British. Let alone bring a credible plan to the economy.”
