Some of the videos of her singing along to Spice’s songs started controversy on the internet. pointing out that the lyrics were not suitable for a 9-year-old sing-along. And that led to an old video of Kanye saying his daughter shouldn’t be on TikTok, and that gave rise to some words they thought were never typed: Kanye was right-… no, I still didn’t dare type that word.

Some Twitter users made exceptions for 9-year-old North to listen to songs with sexist lyrics, such as “Says he’s home.” But I know where he is, like / Bet he blew her back / Missed me because He knew it was fat.” In response to that, others pointed out that kids had been listening to sexually suggestive popular music for decades.
