The popular 1990s group Xscape has officially split, Media Take Out has learned. For years there has been tension in the group. Between the three girls Tamika, Tiny and Kandi and the fourth member of the Tocha girl group.
Media Take Out spoke with many knowledgeable people. And they assure us that Tamika, Tiny and Kandi have agreed to dissolve LLC which owns the rights to the Xscape group and is forming a new group without Tocha.
it’s not clear Will the remaining three members be able to use the “Xscape” name for the new trio, Media Take Out has learned.
Now for tea and it’s JUICY, the end of the group stems from the feud between Kandi and Tocha’s husband, Rocky Bivens.
The final straw came when Rocky called Tasha K., a famous podcaster. During an interview that he was exposed for cheating on his wife. Listening to the first time the girl next door said this was very juicy. Here’s a summary of what the side chicks have to say:
Days later, Rocky calls Tasha K and begins accusing the Xscape members and Kandi’s husband, Todd, overheard his explanation:
During the call, Rocky accused Kandi’s husband of engaging in sexual acts with transgender people. Media Take Out confirmed that Tasha K aired only part of the call. Because he said really weird things, Tasha couldn’t broadcast.
But after the call, Tasha sent the entire call – behind the scenes – to Kandi, and according to our sources, Rocky mentioned a lot of Kandi and Todd that we didn’t hear.
After Kandi receives evidence from Tasha – there is a conference call between Kandi, Tiny, and Tamika where they discuss options for moving forward as a unit. It is filing a defamation lawsuit against Rocky and has been blessed by the group members to do what she has to do to protect her family and the reputation of her empire.
Media Take Out confirms Rocky lost after learning about possible lawsuit And reportedly made phone calls to Kandi and Todd and made some statements that people viewed as “threats”.
And there are many more Kandi lawsuits which are yet to be filed. To cover issues other than defamation, The Burress’s legal team is investigating some fraudulent actions, suggesting that Rocky may have misappropriated $30,000 of the group’s funds.
