Wild cats everywhere, raise your hands up in the air!
Zac Efron returned to East High from “High School Musical,” the hit Disney franchise that made him a household name.
The actor wrote in the caption, “Don’t you… forget about me” Instagram post On Friday, he showed up posing in front of the Salt Lake City school.
Although Efron was referencing the Simple Minds song from the 1985 teen flick “The Breakfast Club”, his followers hoped that the post meant a “HSM” related project in the works.
“OMG please tell me there’s a reunion happening!” One fan wrote, while another said, “By the way I need a reboot with you! Troy Forever Jack.”
Several fans noted that Efron’s ex and former co-star Vanessa Hudgens posted on social media Footage of him in front of East High Just last month.
“But but but… Vanessa made a similar post a few weeks ago. What does that mean?” Someone asked.
Another speculated that Efron, 34, and Hudgens, 33, might make cameos in Disney+’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”
“I hope this means you and Vanessa are guest-starring on HSMTMTS,” wrote another person.
The pair played memorable roles in three “HSM” films featuring lovebirds Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, which were released between 2006 and 2008. Efron and Hudgens went on to date in real life, although they eventually called it quits in 2010.
“Right off the bat, we had a connection,” singer “Say Right” told to glam The year they separated. “I think everyone could see it. When we auditioned, they put us together. And that was adorable.”
Although things reportedly ended amicably, Hudgens told “Access Hollywood Live” in 2017 that He and Efron finally stopped talking,
